What we are
Complete Hot Water Perth is a referral website. We connect households and small businesses in the Perth metro with independent local contractors who replace, install, repair and service hot water systems. We do not employ plumbers, gas fitters or electricians, and we do not carry out work ourselves.
When you call the main Perth line or one of the local lines for Bibra Lake, Merriwa or Wangara, we take the details of the job and pass them to a contractor working in your area. They contact you, look at the job and give you a quote. If you accept it, your agreement is with them.
Why the site exists
Finding someone for a hot water job usually happens in a hurry, on a cold morning, by ringing around. The aim of this site is to make that easier: one number, someone local, and a written quote you can understand. The pages here are written to help you make the decision, whether or not you call. The cost guide sets out 2026 price bands; the lifespan guide explains how Perth's water affects a system; and the FAQ covers the questions that come up most.
What we ask of contractors
Hot water work in Western Australia involves licensed trades: plumbing for the water connections, gas fitting for gas, and electrical work for hard-wired units, all regulated through Building and Energy. We ask the contractors we work with to hold the licences and insurance the job needs, to quote in writing, and to explain the options honestly, including when a repair makes more sense than a new unit. Ask to see the licence and insurance before any work starts, and ask for the compliance paperwork when it is done.
What we do not do
We do not set contractors' prices, and we do not guarantee their work. Warranties on the unit come from the manufacturer; warranties on the installation come from the contractor. The disclaimer has the full details.
